Earrings you can check.
Every Lot & Lobe kit is cut from implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium and carries a lot number. Match it to the mill certificate for the exact batch your earrings came from.
How to check your lot
It takes about a minute, and it's the same certificate we keep on file.
Find the lot number
It's printed on the card inside your kit, starting with LL-.
Open the certificate
Go to lotandlobe.com/lots and enter the number. You'll see the mill certificate for that batch of titanium.
Read the grade
The certificate states the alloy (ASTM F136, Ti-6Al-4V ELI) and the heat number it was produced under.
What's in the Starter Kit

- 2 pairs of flat-back studs (3 mm and 4 mm)
- 1 pair of 8 mm huggie hoops

"Hypoallergenic" isn't a standard. A mill certificate is.

Questions
What is ASTM F136?
It's the standard specification for the titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) used in surgical implants. It sets limits on the alloy's composition, including impurities.
What does the lot number do?
It links your kit to the mill certificate for the batch of titanium it was made from, so you can read the grade yourself instead of taking our word for it.
Are these hypoallergenic?
"Hypoallergenic" has no legal or technical standard, so we don't use it. We tell you exactly what the earrings are made of and show you the certificate. If you've reacted to earrings before, ask your doctor what's right for you.
When can I order?
Orders open once the mill certificate for our first lot is in hand. Join the first batch and we'll email you that day.
Can I return them?
Unworn kits can be returned within 30 days. For hygiene reasons, worn earrings can't be returned.
